"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." -John 15:13

We celebrated Turner's high school graduation last week. He is officially the final Snow kid to graduate high school and fly the coop! We are so proud of him and are excited to see what he accomplishes next. It was fun having all 8 of us home for the weekend to celebrate Turner. Mom always enjoys having all her chickadees under one roof, especially since she and Dad are just days away from being empty nesters! I'm not sure if they are sad about this, exactly, but it will be an adjustment nonetheless.

With warming temperatures and growing cannas comes the topic of garden pests. Canna leafrollers can be quite the nuisance, as I'm sure some of you already know. To help you combat this pesky caterpillar, we have put together a blog post with a few tips and tricks on how to protect cannas from leaf rollers. We hope it is helpful to you!

There are a few days left in our Memorial Day Weekend Sale. Some of my recommendations for our sale items are the $9 Australia, Crimson Beauty, Corsica, Confetti, Kreta, Omega, Pink Magic, and Wyoming bulbs. Also, there are the $8 City of Portland and Musifolia bulbs. Musifolia is our top-selling bulb and one of my personal favorites. These sales will conclude Monday, May 29th at 11:59 PM CST.

We wish you a safe and enjoyable weekend. Please let us know how we can assist you in your canna-gardening endeavors!
