We hope you had a wonderful first week of May! We especially hope you enjoyed at least a few minutes in your garden to breathe some fresh air and dream of summertime blooms (to those in warmer areas who can look at your blooming cannas instead of daydreaming about them, we are jealous of you!).
We are shipping canna rhizomes and live plants daily. The shipping process is a finely tuned machine. Everyone pitches in, often rotating tasks from day to day. We prepare packing slips and planting information, pull live plants from the greenhouse, fill bulb orders, and carefully pack your items into their boxes before printing the shipping label and taping it closed. Not to mention stapling the boxes together, tearing apart stickers, filling up staplers, and many other small tasks. We rely on the knowledge and skills of everyone on our team to get packages assembled and on their way to you.
To share our excitement over our biggest shipping month of the year AND one of the best months for planting flowerbeds in most of the United States, we have TWO pieces of news! First, we have a new variety to share: Cannova® Red Golden Flame! This new variety has flaming red blooms with vibrant yellow edges. We think you are going to love this live plant!
